Forewarned is Forearmed: Harshil Dhutia, Consultant Cardiologist, Glenfield Hospital UHL, Medical lead for JHMT delivered the annual SADS in Sport Talk to young students on the Sport England, Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme (TASS)/Dual Career programme at Loughborough College.
The talk focused on the underlying heart conditions like SADS that can effect athletes and those who participate in high level and regular sport and physical activities in the community.
This was then followed by a practical 'HANDS ON' CPR and how to use an AED session for the TASS students with JHMT's Alan White. Read More »
New Defibrillator Creates Safer Environment For All

A new defibrillator has been installed alongside the New Parks Cruyff Court and young people will be educated how to use it thanks to Leicester City in the Community and their partners in the region.
- A new defibrillator has been installed next to the New Parks Cruyff Court thanks to The Joe Humphries Memorial Trust
- Leicester City's in the Community will work with The Trust to ensure participants know how to use the life-saving item
