Biography

George Olsen is 15 years old, and from Leicester with a real passion for playing cricket. He's a member of the Rothley Park Cricket Club and one of his main goals is to play for the county squad this year. This passion and love for the game stems from his father who introduced him to the sport from an early age.

Even at such a young age, George realises the hard work and hours of practise required to play at the next level and beyond.

One area of his game he wants to improve is batting and he desperately wants to enrol on a 10 x weeks coaching course. George strongly believes that this specialist coaching from an ECB level 2 coach will help make all the difference.

George said: ' An Inspire grant would mean a massive amount to me and my family. This support would help me to achieve my ultimate goal of becoming a county batsman by May of 2017. This is because it would help fund batting coaching for 10 weeks, which is crucial for securing a place in the county squad.'
