I had my first 2 competitions of the season at the end of January, they were great! Unfortunately, in the senior 3 team, we didn't quite put out the performance we had hoped for, but that just means we're training even harder for the next one! We did great in my other teams though. We got 3rd place in one and the other was just exhibiting (a way of practicing performing but you get no score/place) though, so there was no placement for that. It was tiring (seriously, why did both have me needing to be there at 7 in the morning?), but we pushed through!

Another thing that's happened, I joined another team! They had someone drop out last minute, so I ended up helping them as I was already at the comp they were competing at. Afterwards, I decided to stay with them! It's a level 1 team, so it's a slightly calmer training session than others (mostly at least). In the competition, they also got 3rd - and scored their highest yet! As a celebration, we had pizza together.

Next week, the last competition before Germany is happening. I'm very excited but also slightly nervous. Everyone (myself included) is training so hard and I really think we've got a good shot for Germany.
