In November, we had our start of season showcase - where all our teams perform their routines to friends and family. There was a lot of pressure as I'm in 3 teams (Senior 3, Open International 3 and Open International 5) this season which, as I'm sure you can imagine, requires me to remember a lot. It was a tough push, but we hit the majority of our stunts! This was a large uplifter as some of them we'd been really pushing in training.

We've been training for almost half a year now, and of course there's been a few injuries. I myself fractured my arm, leaving me out of cheer - and in a cast - for some weeks. Ironically, it happened a few days after my younger sister (who is also competing in Germany) gained the exact same injury! It was definitely frustrating, but my arm is all fixed up now so I'm back to repping stunts and improving tumbles. We're hoping for first place for both teams competing (the Open International 5 isn't) at BCA in January!

In addition, I have been accepted as a junior coach of 2 teams this season! As part of this, I assist a fully trained coach with a team. In the future, I wish to become a trained coach of my own team. I hope that competing in Germany will aid me in this aspiration, as well as give me skills for any future teams I am a part of.
