Over the weekend I raced 9 events at the East Midlands Short Course Regionals. I made the finals in 6 events and placed top 3 in 4 of them.

I have been training exceptionally hard for this competition as I wanted to qualify with my best times for the upcoming short course Nationals.

Mostly great races but lessons always to be learned, I gained a GOLD medal and a three second pb in the 200m IM, a SILVER medal in the 400m IM and 200m freestyle events, shaving a further 2 and 3 seconds off respectively and a BRONZE medal in the 200m IM event.

Now back to training ready for the City of Leicester Open Meet then followed by the Winter Nationals in December.
