I've been quite lucky to have been given this amazing opportnuity to go on a 4 week expedition to Ecuador in South America with Camps international in the summer of 2021. I'd love to go on this expedition as not only will it give me the opportunity to meet new poeple, experience new cultures and help the local community but it will also help me grow in confidence and give me many new skills.

Whilst I'm there, I will be taking part in a variety of different projects to help make a big difference to those less fortunate right now and for future generations alongside protecting and conserving the environment. Just like me, I belive that everyone deserves the right to a good education and a safe and healthy environment. To help the environment I will be planting new trees to protect the Amazon Rainforest from deforestation and getting involve with ways to minimise the huge wildlife poaching problems. Furthermore, I will be assisting local communities to develop their central services which we take for granted. I'll do this by, building new school classrooms and installing new water facilities to provide clean fresh water.

As well as this, I will be given the chance to obtain a scuba diving experience which will lead to a qualification. This is a big interest for me as not only will I be able to lay to rest one of my fears (open deep waters) I'll be given the chance to experience life underwater and witness the biodiversity that we don't see in everyday life.
