The first race was Derby and I was still trying to gain fitness and settled for 7th next stop was Cumbria and I was pleased with 5th as my strength was coming back. Then all the way to Irvine on the west coast of Scotland and 2nd place for me, next to Crawley where I loved the course but hurt my ankle on lap one and had to stop - I was gutted! Well rested I travelled last weekend to Pembrey in Wales and desperately wanted 3rd but settled for 4th in a tough race. As a first year U16 rider I know I can challenge the podium places and next year I aim to be podium every race but after my summer injury I am happy so far to be where I am . Next stop the East Midlands Regional Champs and then York and then the National Champs in Shrewsbury.
