Results and pre season training.

Right, where do I start what a season it has been couple of weeks ago I had a competition that is called the ICT this stands for Inter County Tournament where all the county's in the country come together in Nottingham for 4 days to compete for the win, I was selected to play in this tournament last year as well. This competition is an u18 tournament I am only 14! I am so proud of my performances because I have proved myself so much and so many people are interested in how I train and what I do to improve. Last year in the ICT Leicestershire came in 12th position where as this year thanks to all of our coaches we pulled through to 2nd position out of 37 county's, everyone in the Leicester squad was so proud of every member of the squad which makes me proud of my team! Also in badminton they have a grading system to how good you are and what tournaments you can enter A is he highest you can go and Z is the lowest you can go at the minute I am a G in mixed which is an improvement, I am a E in men's doubles and a D in boys singles I am gradually working my way up to the top grades this is a big achievement for saying I am only age 14. After the ICT I had the u17 English national championships, I had a tough way through this competition but I was very proud of my performance, my results were knocked out second round of mixed to a top pair, won the first round of boys singles, second round of singles I came up against the best player in the age group and I almost had him, I lost 21-17 17-21 21-17 now that was the highlight of my season. Now in pre season training for my first tournement in August in Gloucestershire u17 gold, this year I should be making my way into the England squad which is my goal of my badminton career. Working on my physical, stamina, strength, agility, mental health so I am ready to prove my self once again from the start of next season to the end.

Thank you so much for your grants this year!!!
Would be much a pleasure to be part of your trust next year aswell
