National Tour Progress

Played in Sutton, London. Unlucky on clay loosing first round match tie break by 2 points! Persevered to make it to the consolation final to finish runner up. Two weeks later moved onto Nottingham Porshe Naitonal Tour where again lost first round match on match tie break by 2 points. Didn't progress very well in the consolation side of the draw but all good experience and building on match play experience.

Break from individual tennis and onto Regional county team tennis. Leicestershire won overall beating Yorkshire on a shoot out which I was part of. We qualified for the National County finals in Nottingham. Tough long 3 days where we finished 4th narrowly missing out on 3rd place.

Highlight so far has been playing the third National Tour event of the summer so far at Halton, Buckinghamshire over May half term. This time made it past first round!! First time in 14s age group I've made it past first round, from here went onto to progress to the single and doubles final! What a way to make it out of first round for the first time and make it to the final. Huge result winning the National Tour Final 7-6(8)/7-6(4) against my Scottish doubles partner. Not quite as successful in doubles, we finished as runners up. Great recognition for me by Leicester Mercury on 14th June.

Next onto 14s Premier team tennis...we qualified for the Nationals at Roehampton National Tennis Centre in July
