I travelled to Sheffield on Friday 14 December to compete in the Winter Nationals Short Course Meet at Ponds Forge. I entered two events, 100 and 200 backstroke. I qualified for the A final in the 200 backstroke and came 4th with a PB and broke the County Record which I had previously held. In the 100 back I qualified for the B final and came 4th with a PB. I was pleased with my swims and getting PB's in both events was a nice end to the year. I am now looking forward to competing long course in the new year. The next meet is the Burns Meet in January 2019.
