I travelled to Sheffield on Monday 23 July to compete in the British Swimming Summer Championships at Ponds Forge.

I entered 4 events 200 free, 200 back, 100 free and 200 IM. I qualified for 4 finals. In the 200 back and 200 free my swims weren't the best but in the 100 Freestyle I achieved a PB in the heat and final and in the 200 IM I had my best time for this year, although I did not manage to finish in the medals (it was a great finish to the week for me). I now have August off and start back training on the 3 September.
