World qualifiers was a really tight race. The front bike pack ended up being full of all the race favorites. The run was a tough and saw a group of 5 get away. There was a fair bit of attacking and it came down to the final lap. Here my lack of running history showed slightly and i came a close to third but finished 4th. According to the selectors i had run fast enough to come top 15 at worlds which was the selection criteria but British triathlon didn't have enough spaces to take me which was gutting.
