Biography

Sameer is 14 years old who has a passion and talent for his badminton. This has included a meteoric rise having become the top ranked player in his age group for the past 4+ years (nationally ranked 35 in U17's when only 14). Encouraged by his parents and first class coaching and support from LSBA (Leicestershire Badminton Association) and KAS badminton, the future looks bright for young Sameer who many believe has the potential to play at a very high standard. He is currently ranked no.1 in the U17's within Leicester.

Sameer said: ' The award of an Inspire small grant would mean the world to me because I sincerely believe that I have the potential to represent England in the future if my current achievements are anything to go by. It would also enable me to access vital individual one-to-one coaching and purchase better training equipment.
