Biography

My name is Joseph, I am 21 and studying Cyber Security at De Montfort University and in my final year. I am a member of the De Montfort Rowing Club. I have trained throughout lockdown and was training for the British University and Colleges Sports Regetta. Unfortunately, I didn't make it to the competition due to a clash with another crew during training which damaged my boat and oars. whilst not being able to train on the water I have helped with the coaching of the novice crews. The grant awarded to me by the Joe Humphries Trust will help towards replacing my damaged oars and get me back into training for the next season.
