I have finally completed my level 2 coaching course! The first four days of the course took place before lockdown - so everything was going to plan. I had done 4 voluntary hours and I was ready to complete the final 4 hours of voluntary work. However, lockdown put everything on hold and for a while I wasn't able to do any coaching at all.
Thankfully, tennis is one of the sports that is easier to return to with all the new covid regulations. I have now completed the final day of the course, where I was examined to see if my coaching was good enough to pass. Luckily it was, so once I had finished the voluntary hours, I had completed the whole course!

It took much longer than expected - but that isn't the end of the world! Now I am more ready than ever to get into some proper tennis coaching at a few of my local clubs. It will be great to get to know the players and coaches already there, and I'll be able to put into practice some of the skills I learnt on the level 2 coaching course.
