I have been really busy over the last couple of months developing designs for my jewellery range!

It's so exciting to know that I can create my pieces in precious metals. I have been working on techniques to create a collection of rings and possibly other wearable items. I am currently testing different ways in which the shapes derived from architecture and floor plans can be turned into beautiful jewellery, so that I can order the silver for my final designs.

The process that goes into creating the jewellery is a lot of drawing and generating inspiration, followed by lots and lots of testing to come up with the best techniques to use for what you want to create. There is a lot of back and forth between drawing and making, and I am now coming towards arguably the most important stage which is testing and practising ideas I've come up with. I am hoping to create a range of stackable rings and pendants, taking inspiration from floor plans of old stately homes and castles I have visited over the last few years. In the next couple of weeks I will be crafting the final pieces from sterling silver, and sending them off to be hallmarked with very own sponsor mark that will be unique to me and my name as a designer.

I'm extremely inspired and excited for what is to come,

I can't thank JHMT enough!
