Last weekend, I got the opportunity to help coach a disability session in Nottingham. I had previously attended these sessions, piloting a tandem for a visually impaired rider. The structure of the session is very similar every time, with a speed/pacing activity, a time trial and some skills work. I helped the coach set up the bikes at the beginning (as they are specialist bikes that belong to British Cycling). I also set up the cones for a cornering activity. At the end of the session, I got to ride a handcycle and a tricycle, which was a great experience.
