I travelled by Flybe to Edinburgh on Thursday 14 March 2019 to compete in the Edinburgh International Open Meet. Competitors included swimmers from Spain, Denmark, Belgium and Sweden.

I had entered 4 events, 50m free, 200m free, 200m IM and 200m backstroke. I achieved a PB in the 50m free but did not qualify for the final, in the other 3 events I qualified for the finals. I came 5th in the 200m IM and 6th in the 200m free. The backstroke final was shortly after the 200m IM and I came 8th, I was very disappointed with my swim but pleased with the other 3.

My next competition is the British Championships in Glasgow in April.
