2018/19 Season Update

Thank you to Joe Humphries for their continued support which allows me to focus on my training. This grant will help cover my training expenses for the upcoming year.

I had a busy and successful summer, I competed in the English Schools 1500m and achieved 7th place in the final. I was pleased with this result but I felt that if i had raced smarter then i could have managed a higher position.

After the English Schools I raced in the Midland's Championships and won the 1500m. This solidified my position to compete in the School Games. This was a massive experience for me as it prepares young athletes for the Olympic Games. I represented the Midland's in the School Games and managed 3rd. This was a strong result but most importantly, it improved my confidence and overall experience of competing in large events.

I went on to win the Midland and National Road Relays with my two other teammates. This provided us with great strength and confidence for the Cross Country season. I am currently coming to the end of the cross country season. I came 2nd in the County championships and also 3rd in the Midland championships. My plan for the remainder of the season is to race in the National championships and the Inter Counties. My current goal is for a position within the top 20 for the national's and then to improve on that position two weeks later at the Inter Counties.
