I decided to challenge myself and compete in an older age group over half term Regional competitions. I competed in the 18 singles and doubles at Tipton Tennis Centre.

I had a successful first round match and won in straight sets. Then I played the number 2 seed. Even though I lost I'm happy with the level I played at. My work on fitness I think paid off because I pushed and tested my opponent. He was physically bigger and stronger but I didn't give up and made it to balls I wouldn't have before so pleased with my progress.

For doubles my partner & I made it to the final which was tough against the number 1 & 3 seed but good learning experience and actually not a bad result in an older age group.

Back to the club to give feedback to my coach and back to training for summer season.
