Last week I attended the Rutland Community sports awards where I was nominated for Sportswoman of the year. As a result of my successes I win the award! It was a lovely night and it was amazing to meet such inspirational people. Due to this I have also been asked to talk to the local Rutland sailability sailors in the spring, they are a lovely group of people and I can't wait to meet them! We also had our first squad weekend, which went really well and we feel we made big improvements over the last few weeks. We're looking forward to improving even more and I would like to thank JHMT for helping support me take the next step! Coming up this weekend we have the 2nd squad camp followed by a Grand Prix at Rutland the following weekend. Fingers crossed for the next 2 weeks!
