Last weekend was spent racing at Harvey Haddon, Notts at the SC Winter Champs. This was a swim through meet for me which meant that training was not tapered, so I was pleased with the results as I was racing tired. Saturday was very hard racing with the 200 free, 400IM followed by the 1500 free (my only chance to get a qualifying time for Winter Nationals). All went well and I got my times and 2 new LASA Senior County records. The 1500 was then followed by finals of the 200 and 400. Sunday was more chilled with the 200IM and the 400 free. I came away as Midlands Champ in all my events with the exception of the 200 free and am looking forward to racing at our own meet in a couple of weeks.
