Last week my school, Rawlins Academy Quorn, held a celebration evening to recognise students who had achieved goals throughout the academic year both in and out of school. I was delighted to be awarded Sportsman of the Year. Alongside my A levels I will also be studying for a Diploma in Sporting Excellence. At the induction day a couple of weeks ago, it was great to meet up with my swimming friends from all over the country and the course sounds really valuable.
