Another good day at the pool yesterday. The 100 free in the morning was exciting and although just off my best time, I managed to qualify for the final in the afternoon. It was a good warm up swim for my main event, the 1500 free. My heat was the fastest heat and I raced against swimmers older than myself. The 1500 went well. I lowered my PB and got the gold in my age group. Importantly I was 4th overall in the event which I was really pleased with. I did manage the 100 free final straight after and finished 6th!
