Hi, so what have I been up to in the past months leading up to the CP Worlds?

In April I did a 5k (200 lengths) Swimathon with 2 of my teammates who also have a disability. I raised nearly £400 for Cancer Research UK and Marie Currie. It was alot of fun supporting each other on as we rotated round doing the 5k. We managed to do it in just over an hour! We were all so pleased with our result and effort that we all worked so hard for.

May 31th to 3rd June was the British Para Swimming International Meets which took place at Sheffield. I competed in the 100m free and 50m free events, both resulted in PBs and a final in 50m free. I was happy with the competition and all the training had payed off. I am extremely happy for my teammates they all aced their races.

As for now I am back to training, getting ready for British Para Swimming National Summer Championships at the end of July/beginning of August, so will be back to Sheffield to compete.
