On Wednesday I competed in the 35 mile road race. There were about 50 riders and I finished 10^th.

From quite early on in the race, two riders attacked and formed a break. Another rider tried to cross to them but we caught him. The gap had become too big to bring the other two riders back and they took 1^st and 2^nd place. The rest of the bunch sprinted and I came 8^th in the sprint, 10^th overall.
