Really pleased that I was shortlisted for Young Sportsman of the Year at the Leicester Mercury Sports Awards last Thursday pm. Unfortunately I could not attend the ceremony as I was already in France, preparing to race the following day. The title was eventually awarded to Ben Dijkstra. Well done Ben! Well deserved.
