I am delighted to say that I am working hard to overcome my injury and my recovery is going well. I have been doing all that I can to be productive with my time and I am happy that I am now finding ways to move forward to support my progression. The support that the JHMT has given me has enabled me to purchase spare equipment and will also help towards the cost of maintenance once I get my new racing wheelchair.

This week I was invited to the Leicester City Sports Awards to present the Young Disabled Sports Person of the year. Both nominee's have made a wonderful start in their chosen sport and I wish them both the very best. It was wonderful to be in a room surrounded by those that strive to achieve and support others. A little support goes a long way and the encouragement from the trust is much appreciated. A reminded that I am in the right place, and more then ready to accomplish all that I am able to.

I was also nominated for the Disabled Sports Person of the year, up against talented individuals. I won this award and I am flattered by this recognition. It's been a long road to get here and I am determined to keep going. Soon to get my new racing wheelchair I am so excited for what is to come. Thank you again for all your support.
