Last weekend I went away to Scotland to train with the rest of the GB Youth Climbing Team as prior to selection for the the final European Youth Climbing Cup and the World Youth Championships. I headed over to Ratho International Climbing Arena to train with my friends and and hope that I would get selected for at least one of these events. This year has been very good for me as I have trained harder then ever to be fit enough to compete with athletes from all around the world and prove that I can do well in competitions on an international scale. I managed to climb really well at the weekend and it also showed me areas in which I could improve on to make myself a better climber. I was pleased to find out at the end of the training event that me and many other British climbers will be competing at not only the final European Cup but also the worlds as well! Due to this I have been training harder and am very very excited to be heading out to Mitterdorf (Austria) for the European event and Arco (Italy) for the World Cup!
